INHS offering free skin cancer screenings | Events
Is that mole something to be concerned about? Still worried about the damage done by that blistering sunburn last year? Inland Northwest Health Services wants you to get screened for skin cancer, and they’re making it easy by offering free screenings.
Skin cancer can occur at any age, especially if you have risk factors like multiple or atypical moles, a fair complexion, or a history of severe sunburns. INHS is working with dermatologists around Spokane and Spokane Valley to provide the free cancer screenings. The screenings are thanks to a donation from the Providence Health Care Foundation.
Dermatologists at Dermatology Specialists of Spokane, Medical Oncology Associates, Northwest Dermatology, Advance Dermatology and Skin Surgery, Spokane Dermatology Clinic, and Care Northwest are donating their time to perform the screenings.
The free screenings will take place May 12-17, and are by appointment only. Every location except the Cancer Care Northwest locations still have appointments available. For more information on locations and appointments click HERE.
