Riverside State Park becomes Winter Wonderland

Riverside State Park will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland for three nights this week. With snow forecast for later this week, the Winter Wonderland event allows families to enjoy the park in a different way.

The swinging bridge will be illuminated with lights while visitors enjoy hay rides and visits with Santa. After your hayride or stroll across the bridge you can warm up by the campfire. The West Valley Outdoor Learning Center will have live owls and hawks as well.

The Riverside State Park Foundation will be selling hot chocolate, cider, coffee and cookies for $1 as well as hand warmers for $2 and bird house Christmas ornaments for $5. The Swinging Bridge General Store will also be open.
