Audubon student inducted into School Safety Hall of Fame | Community Spirit
A big honor for a dedicated Safety Patrol student at Audubon Elementary. Sixth grader Allarae Prigan was selected as one of 10 outstanding patrollers in Washington and will be inducted into the AAA School Safety Patrol Hall of Fame.
Allarae was nominated by Audubon Attendance Secretary Melinda Holland. She wanted to recognize Allarae for her dedication, commitment to making good choices and for helping other students. In addition to Safety Patrol, Allarae is on the student council and said she loves Audubon and wants to help the school out in anyway she can.
AAA said that patrollers are evaluated based on their commitment to traffic safety, citizenship, leadership skills, and contributions to their school safety program. The nomination also includes a series of essay questions that the students work on with their advisors. This year, more than 50 students were nominated.
Allarae will be inducted into the Hall of Fame along with the nine other students from across the state at an evening ceremony at Safeco Field on May 9th before the first pitch of that night’s Seattle Mariners Game.
Congratulations Allarae! Spokane is proud of you, keep up the good work!
